This is a semi-serious slide-show, using the SLIDE run-time engine, to show off a screen or two demonstrating how linking your Psion 3a up to a GPS can be of use! To run it, just copy the SLIDE.OPA program to any \APP\ directory and install its icon from there with the usual Psion-I. Copy the PIC files (3 of them) to any \PIC\ directory and the BOND.DBF file to any \SLIDES\ directory. To recap: \APP\SLIDE.OPA \SLIDES\BOND.DBF \PIC\MAPGPS1.PIC \PIC\MZOOM1.PIC \PIC\LOTUS.PIC Press ENTER on the SLIDE icon and watch away .... For more information on SLIDE, Mapper-3a or any of my other fully working shareware programs, please get in touch via e-mail at slitchfield@cix.compulink.co.uk or on Compuserve as 100640,107 GPS units (should you feel Christmas is approaching and you can afford to give yourself such a present!) can be gotten for about 260 pounds these days, so although expensive they're not out of reach. Don't buy one of the el-cheapo ones, they may not have a computer interface and so can't be connected to the Psion. I recommend the Garmin GPS 45, for what it's worth!
